REGISTER TO VOTE

Voting is a responsibility for each and every citizen of Litchfield. Here are some steps that will make it easier to register to vote, to vote in person, or as an absentee.

Step 1 - CHECK if you are REGISTERED

Step 3 - In Person Voting

First Voting District:          

Litchfield Firehouse, Route 202, Litchfield

 

Second Voting District:     

Northfield Firehouse, 14 Knife Shop Rd, Northfield

Third Voting District:    

Bantam Borough Hall, Route 202, Bantam

Fourth Voting District:      

Northfield Firehouse, 14 Knife Shop Rd., Northfield

Step 2 - REGISTER at Litchfield Town Hall

TO REGISTER TO VOTE, you can fill out a form available at the Town Clerk’s office (74 West Street; Litchfield, CT 06759) during office hours (Tuesday & Friday 10:00 am to 12:00 pm) or have one mailed to you by calling at

860-567-7558.

You can also register online by visiting  https://vote.gov/register/ct/

Step 3 - Absentee Ballot

Connecticut law allows you to receive an absentee ballot if you cannot appear at your assigned polling place on election day because of active service in the Military, absence from the town, illness, religious activity, duties as an election official at a polling place other than your own, or physical disability.
