How LISA LOSEE embodies
COMMUNITY FIRST

Lisa is very proud to have served in the Town Clerks office since 2006, first as an assistant, in 2007 as acting, and then in 2009 as elected Town Clerk and Registrar of Vital Statistics. She is a certified CT Town Clerk by the Secretary of the State. Over the course of her tenure, Lisa has had many accomplishments. She brought computers into office, digitized Land Records as far back as 1981, digitized survey maps digitized and is in process of putting them on-line, stored all property records, and securely maintained and preserved all official Town Records & Vital Records back to 1719. For Lisa's efforts, she was awarded 15 State grants. Aside from the many projects she has completed, Lisa also manages dog licensing, sportsman’s licensing, marriage licensing, absentee balloting, election management, registration of birth and death records, and Military records management, just to name a few other responsibilities.

 

Lisa is a 3rd generation Litchfield resident. She is a wife to Peter, has two lovely daughters, and three wonderful granddaughters. As a volunteer Lisa is an active member of Litchfield County Town Clerk’s Assoc., CT Town Clerk’s Assoc. serving on Mentor committee and is Co-Chair of the State Conference Commitee.
